HEMA Must Not Have Use Such Word

Actor-turned politician Hema Malini has stoked a controversy with her remarks that widows from Bengal and Bihar should not crowd Vrindavan, the holy city in Uttar Pradesh and home to thousands of destitute women"There are 40,000 widows in Vrindavan. I think there is no more place in the city. A large population is coming from Bengal... that's not right. Why don't they stay in Bengal? There are nice temples there. The same is true for those from Bihar," she said.

  1. Indicative of the bimbos which BJP has made as MPs...what a farce. There should be some minimum common sense for MPs , Hema lacks even the basic courtesies which woman give to other women

  2. Hemamalini herself is migrant she basically Tamil Iyengar She migrated to Bombay to do film acting now she migrated to Mathura for election how
she can blame widowers as migrants
As MP she should foccus on upliftment of the widows either by providing training in skills and by creating co operative society for them by funding through the MPLAD This will help them in self employmnt so that they can live respectivly in society This will also help to boost her image in society
She is now a MP and no more film actress

  3. She is indicating that Vrindavan is getting over-crowded by widows from every state. This is Lord Krishna's problem not hers.He has made arrangements for all.The best that she and her party can do is help in enhancing that arrangement made by Krishna. All of Vrindavan is reverberating with the chant of Haribol! Radhe Radhe! These poor helpless ladies are also depending only on Lord Krishna and not on politicians. The plight of a widow cannot be understood by a woman who is married. One has to become a widow to really feel what another widow feels. If she cannot have empathy for these souls, she shouldn't visit Vrindavan. If she can do something to alleviate the conditions of these women, then she should do it.Going to media with such comments she will surely attract flak.

  4. Let us understand ground realities. The concerned states should adopt measures to mitigate the problems. The living conditions are poor.We do not know how many women are exploited .Public at large also should be taught the necessityto take care of their elders. Sending all to Mathura is not the solution . It is only passing on their responsibility.Unfortunately majority are from Bengal.Let Mamtha Didi do something. Please do not politicize the issue

  5. Vrindavan widows have a bank balance, good income, nice beds, but they beg out of habit" What is wrong in this statement of Hema Malini? Out of habit begging is indeed a bane of India which the may be the rich romantics want to persist and not eradicate by changing the ground situation.

By the by, who has given the media the license to criticism anyone and anybody just by highlighting a part of the speech only to be taken up later for 9 pm prime time debate for increasing their TRP? And some fools here will fall for this trick and just criticize the person concerned only because she is following a different political point of view. The criticism is more to do with here being a BJP leader than anything I suppose.
