I don’t think it is fit to drink.” After about half an hour, again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back to the lake and get him some water to drink. The disciple obediently went back to the lake. This time he found that the lake had absolutely clear water in it. The mud had settled down and the water above it looked fit to be had. So he collected some water in a pot and brought it to Buddha. Buddha looked at the water, and then he looked up at the disciple and said, “See what you did to make the water clean. You let it be ... and the mud settled down on its own – and you got clear water... Your mind is also like that. When it is disturbed, just let it be. Give it a little time. It will settle down on its own. You don’t have to put in any effort to calm it down. It will happen. It is effortless.” What did Buddha emphasize here? He said, “It is effortless.” Having 'peace of mind' is not a strenuous job; it is an effortless process. When there is peace inside you, that peace permeates to the outside. It spreads around you and in the environment, such that people around start feeling that peace and grace.

Sunanda Pushkar, wife of Shashi Tharoor, MP. As reported she was  died because of the presence of “poison” in the body. It is confirmed in  the final post- mortem report.

The report, which says Sunanda had no
ailments, was submitted to the Station
House Officer of Sarojini Nagar Police
station on September 30. “The report only says ‘poison’ in the body. The Medical Board has reserved comments on the specific poison,” a source said. The report also raises queries on the police investigation so far. “Opinion on the duration of the injuries has been given already.

However, the reason for these physical
injuries, circumstantial evidences and
statements have not been submitted by the Investigation Officer despite sending a letterin this regard on April 4, 2014,”

women in Parliament than earlier, they are nowhere near the 33% representation mark, which is recognised the world over as thevery basic representation for a group thatcomprises 49% of the population. It would not be an exaggeration to state that the
entire political system conspired to
"legitimise" our state of under-representation
while opposing the Reservation Bill. Not eventhe most shocking and dastardly of crimes
against women shook their conscience oremboldened some of them to speak up andadmit their own collective failure in building a truly diverse and accountable India. Surely, it is there for everyone to see that such gross under-representation impacts priorities and sensitivities.

The need of the hour is to move beyond
emotive posturing about women's issues
and draw up a road map for accountability and enable 33% representation of women in all elected bodies.

Design: Yeah, it’s a budget smartphone, but it’s sad that the Redmi 1s looks and feels like a budget smartphone. But perhaps the biggest problem is the capacitive buttons under the screen. The red colour is a turn-off and looks childish. Art students and IAS but how?
I am not against any stream but people are crying beacuse they are unable to crack exam due to their lack of hard work and study is wrong.  Most of the engineering students below to Science stream and we know they had hard work in their studies. 
Let see what is the real problem?
The controversy over Union Public Service Commission Civil Service Preliminary Examination, which is the first step towards joining the top echelons of bureaucracy, has taken an ugly turn with the issue being diverted to the linguistic fight. The structure of the CSAT (Civil Service Aptitude Test) is the main bone of contention, which aspirants feel is biased towards technical and management students and it should be scrapped.
owever this contention is totally wrong. 
The structure of the exam was changed in 2011 and since then the aspirants from Humanities and Hindi belt are protesting against it. The change has adversely affected the number of aspirants cracking the exam from Humanities stream and Hindi belt as the numbers have gone down drastically.
The prelims examination is divided into two sections - General Studies and CSAT and both the papers are of 200 marks. The General Studies consists of 100 questions and the CSAT of 80 questions. But the marks required to qualify General Studies is 30 whereas for CSAT it is 70.

The CSAT comprises of questions based on communication skill, logical reasoning and analytical ability, decision making and problem solving, general mental ability, basic numeracy, data interpretation and English comprehension.

Candidates with poor command over general studies are qualifying because of their good command over aptitude. (Since even the best candidates in general studies, cannot score beyond a point in GS paper- given its toughness). Thus, graduates from non-science/non-engineering background are hurt in the competition.
But in my opinion student from non-science back ground specially art student enjoy their student life in other activities and never pay attention towards studies this is the real fact which every one know.

We know India is emerging market for Smartphone. China's Xiaomi said it intends to invest heavily in India.  Xiaomi's International Vice President Hugo who joined last year, said the company does not expect to turn a profit in India any time soon. He said the privately owned Xiaomi was planning to build India-specific features for its phones and set up a local team to help penetrate one of the world's fastest growing smartphone markets. Xiaomi launched the Mi 3, the cheaper Redmi and its Redmi tablet. Localization will be key to Xiaomi's fortunes in India, where it will have to convince users to turn away from the apps and services they are used to and adopt Xiaomi's own system. Xiaomi's success in China has partly come from its unique Android operating system, which it tailored to its customers.

 The Mi 3, Xiaomi's latest smartphone, is priced at 13,999 rupees ($230). According to Neil Shah of Counterpoint Technology Market Research, the phone's features are comparable to the Samsung Galaxy S4, which costs between 29,000-30,000 rupees.

India ranks behind China and the United States in smartphone sales, with up to 90 million smartphones expected to be sold there this year, according to Counterpoint Technology Market Research.

In India, Xiaomi is selling its products via ecommerce company Flipkart.

हरदोई से सिर्फ 70 किमी दूर संडीला व बांगरमऊ मार्ग पर इस गांव के कनौजिया, दिवाकर, विमल बिरादरी में चली आ रही इस परंपरा में ऐसा ही होता है। भावरें भी पड़ती हैं और रस्मो रिवाज भी निभाए जाते हैं पर अंदाज जुदा है। मुन्ना, जियालाल, कल्लू, सुधीर ने बताया कि शादी के दिन दुल्हन परिवार व नाते रिश्तेदारों के साथ बरात लेकर ससुराल जाती है। दूल्हे के आंगन में ही खंभ पूजन कर मंडप सजाया जाता है। जनवासे से दुल्हन अपने परिवार के साथ मंडप में जाती है और फिर वहीं अग्नि को साक्षी मान दूल्हे के साथ सात फेरे लेती है। पैर पूजन, कन्या दान जैसी रस्मों के बाद वह सास-ननद के बीच रहती है और अगले दिन सुबह दूल्हे के घर पर ही कलेवा होता है। शाम को दुल्हन के ससुरालीजन उसे मायके के लिए विदा करते हैं। अगले दिन दूल्हा अपने परिवार व रिश्तेदारों के साथ ससुराल जाता है। अगले दिन दुल्हन को ससुराल विदा करा ले जाते हैं।

यह अनूठी परंपरा कब, किसने और कैसे शुरू हुई इसकी तो किसी को जानकारी नहीं है। बुजुर्ग रामआसरे का कहना है कि उनके पूर्वज बताते थे कि गांव में कभी बहुत गरीबी थी। किसी तरह गुजर बसर होती थी। बेटी की शादी में अधिक खर्च न हो, इसके लिए लोग बेटी को लेकर उसकी ससुराल में ही शादी करने चले जाते थे। यह मजबूरी धीरे-धीरे परंपरा बन गई। आज सब साधन संपन्न हैं। लोग विदेश तक में काम करते हैं लेकिन यह परंपरा अब भी कायम है। आज भी लोग धूमधाम से इस परम्परा का निर्वाह करते हैं।

हाल में ही शादी के इस अनूठे बंधन में बंधी राधिका, रामबेटी, मुन्नी, रजनी और मनोहर का कहना है कि इस परंपरा में फेरे लेने के पहले ही दूल्हा-दुल्हन एक दूसरे को परिवारीजन को समझ लेते हैं जिससे भविष्य में कोई परेशानी नहीं होती। हमेशा ही उनका रिश्ता मजबूत रहता है।

दूल्हे की उठी डोली, विदा होकर गया ससुराल

हमारी परंपरा रही है कि बेटियों को ही अपने माता-पिता और घर-बार को छोड़कर शादी के बाद ससुराल में बसना पड़ता है और पति के परिजनों में ही प्यार टटोलना पड़ता है, लेकिन अब सिरसा (हरियाणा) स्थित डेरा सच्चा सौदा ने एक अनोखी मुहिम शुरू की है, जिसमें बेटों को ससुराल में जाकर रहना पड़ेगा। दूल्हे को लड़की के माता-पिता को ही अपने माता-पिता मानकर उनकी सेवा करनी होगी।

भू्रणहत्या रोकने व बेटियाें को बेटाें के समान समाज में अधिकार दिलवाने के उद्देश्य से डेरा सच्चा सौदा द्वारा 73वें मानवता भलाई कार्य के रूप में 'कुल का क्रॉउन' मुहिम चलाई गई है। इसके तहत शनिवार को बारात लेकर पहुंचने वाली सिरसा निवासी तुलसी इन्सां रविवार को अपने दूल्हे पवन इन्सां के साथ अपने मायके में पहुंची। नवविवाहित युवक व युवती के परिवारजनाें व रिश्तेदारों के साथ-साथ कॉलोनीवासियाें ने भी उनका जोरदार स्वागत किया। परिवार के सदस्याें ने दूल्हे का परंपरागत रीति -रिवाज से गृह प्रवेश कराया।

इसी तरह पानीपत की सुरुचि भी डेरा सच्चा की मुहिम के तहत दूल्हे को सिरसा से ब्याह कर पानीपत लाई। श्री प्रेम मंदिर के पास रहने वाली सुरुचि अपने माता-पिता की इकलौती संतान हैं और बीकॉम द्वितीय वर्ष में पढ़ती है। शनिवार को सुरुचि बरात लेकर गई और डेरा सच्चा सौदा में सिरसा के निजीया खेड़ा निवासी राजबीर से शादी रचाई। परंपरा के अनुसार, दुल्हन पहले जयमाला डालती है, लेकिन राजबीर ने पहले दुल्हन को जयमाला डाली। सुरुचि का मां सुनीता का कहना है कि वह राजबीर को अपने बेटे की तरह रखेंगी।

दुल्हन तो चाहिए पर बेटियां नहीं बचाते हरियाणवी

चंडीगढ़ [अनुराग अग्रवाल]। भाजपा किसान मोर्चा के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष ओमप्रकाश धनखड़ का वोट के बदले कुंवारों की शादियां कराने संबंधी बयान भले ही राजनीतिक रूप से तूल पकड़ लिया है, लेकिन सच्चाई यह है कि हरियाणा में कुंवारों की तादाद बढ़ती जा रही है। इसके लिए कोई दूसरा नहीं बल्कि स्वयं हरियाणा के लोग ही दोषी हैं। उन्हें दुल्हनें तो चाहिए पर कोख में पलने वाली बेटियां बचाना मंजूर नहीं है।

प्रदेश में गिरता लिंग अनुपात कुंवारेपन की प्रमुख जड़ है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट की 2006 की हिदायतों के बावजूद राज्य में कन्या भ्रूण हत्या रोकने की दिशा में गंभीर प्रयास नहीं हुए हैं। राज्य में करीब 15 हजार अल्ट्रासाउंड मशीनें काम कर रही हैं, लेकिन स्वास्थ्य विभाग के कागजों में इनकी संख्या अंगुलियों पर गिनने लायक है। हाई सोसायटी के लोग ब्लड की जांच के जरिये लिंग जांच करा लेते हैं, लेकिन मध्यम वर्ग के लोग अल्ट्रासाउंड के जरिये पता लगाकर कन्या भ्रूण को पनपने का मौका नहीं देते। राज्य में एक हजार लड़कों के पीछे 879 लड़कियों का लिंग अनुपात है। यह आंकड़ा 2011 की जनगणना के मुताबिक है। आज एक हजार लड़कों के पीछे लड़कियों की संख्या 850 से 860 तक रह गई है। आबादी के लिहाज से प्रदेश में 32 लाख लड़कियों का अंतर है। यानि कुंवारों की बड़ी फौज तैयार हो चुकी है। इस वर्ग में कोई भी राजनीतिक उलट-फेर करने का पूरा माद्दा है।

The nurses will fly back to Kerala on Saturday morning, IANS quoted chief minister Oommen Chandy as saying.

How to apply for Re-verification/revaluation of marks CBSE class 12th?

Re-verification ,  revaluation and obtaining Photo copy of Answer sheet ,  Senior School Certificate(Class XII) Examination, 2014 , CBSE New Procedure
As per the official information from CBSE  from 2014  onward  board has made few change in the procedure verification , revaluation of answer sheet and obtaining photo copy of answer sheet by the candidates.

It is for the information of all the stakeholders that w.e.f. 2014 examination Board has decided to introduce  the provision of “Revaluation” at the Senior Secondary level(Class XII) in addition to the provisions of  Verification of Marks and Obtaining of photocopy of evaluated answer book(s) which are already in  existence. These processes have been interlinked viz. candidates applying for verification of marks will  only be eligible to apply for obtaining photocopy of evaluated answer book and those obtaining  photocopy of answer book will only be eligible to apply for revaluation, meaning thereby that no  candidate will be permitted to make a request for providing of photocopy(ies)without following the procedure of verification of marks and in the same way no candidate would have a right to challenge the  answer(s) without verification of marks and getting photocopy of the evaluated answer book. Therefore, the  candidates are requested to take note of this information and be careful while submitting  application(s)  accordingly.
The modalities are as under:

1. Verification of marks 
  The fee is Rs. 300/- per subject
The period for applying is within 07 days w.e.f. 30.5.2014 to 05.06. 2014 
Payment will be received through e-challan/electronic payment gateway.
no application or fee shall be received offline.
The result of verification of marks will be uploaded on the Net. However in case a mistake is  detected, a formal letter will also be sent by speed post.
The Board will not be responsible for any loss or damage or any inconvenience caused to the candidate,  consequent upon the delay in communication for reasons beyond control
NO REQUEST RECEIVED UNDER RTI FOR VERIFICAITON OF MARKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

 2.Application for Obtaining Photocopy of the evaluated answer book 
 Only those candidates who have applied for verification of marks will be eligible to apply for obtaining
photocopy of the evaluated answer book(s)on remitting the requisite fee of Rs.700/- per subject and the
schedule for receipt of forms will be from 20.6. 2014 to 23.06.2014. 

3. Revaluation 
 i) Only those candidates who have applied for obtaining photocopy of the evaluated answer  book shall be eligible to apply for revaluation or challenge the marks awarded to any question(s) in the following subjects only.
 Subject for which candidate can apply for revaluation
English Core, English Elective, Functional English, Hindi Core, Hindi Elective, Mathematics, Physics,
Chemistry, Biology, Business Studies, Economics & Accountancy
 ii) Request for maximum 10 questions shall be entertained only for theory portion in the above  subjects @Rs.100/- per question. Applications will be received only online with payment  through e-challan/electronic payment gateway.
iii) request for revaluation/challenge for particular question(s) only in theory paper shall be  received only online from 28.06.2014 to 04.7.2014.

 iv) no second request for any additional question(s) shall be accepted
